I often ponder thoughts for a while before deciding it is time to write them down. Recently I’ve been wondering what it is about mankind that results in horrific things like war even in this day and age. Millions have perished in wars, and most of the people fighting in these wars (or victims of the rampages of war), would not have participated if they didn’t have to. It seems to me that 99% of us do not want war. We just want to live our lives in peace. Sure, we have to defend our territories from aggression.
